Betty Lee Fulfer Moist (February 26, 1915-June 27, 2000)
Betty Lee Fulfer Moist, 85, long time resident of Kelso, WA., passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2000, after a lengthy
illness. Mrs. Moist was born February 26, 1915, in Mineral Wells, TX., Palo Pinto County. She was the daughter
of Henry Howard and Sarah Ann Tirrell Fulfer. Betty enjoyed crocheting, quilting and working in her flower garden. She
was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Grover Moist; daughters, Helen Smith, Betty (Babe) Torbett, and Evelyn Combs; grandsons,
Michael Clark, Glen Everitte, and Ronny Makowsky and one brother Oliver Francis Fulfer. Survivors include 3 daughters,
Marie Page and husband Bob of Pond Creek, OK.; Mary Cowan and husband Dwight of Wichita, KS.; and Pamela McDonald of
Kelso, WA. One son, Sam Makowsky and wife Joye of Minden, LA. She had 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Submitted
