George Lawrence McNeal, 79, died Sunday, June 24, 2001, at his residence. A memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, at the family residence. Mr. McNeal was born in New London, Ind., and lived in the San Luis Obispo area for the last three years. He was a high school teacher for 28 years and was employed with the Oxnard Union High School District.
Mr. McNeal is survived by his wife, Mary Lou McNeal of Pismo Beach; sons Steven L. McNeal of Sacramento and Brian E. McNeal of Camarillo; daughter Cindy Beede of Bellingham, Wash.; sister Marjorie Clawson of North Carolina; and two grandchildren.
