Systems Controller served in Vietnam
John C. McKinley, Jr., a systems controller with El Paso Electric Co. and a Vietnam War veteran, died Saturday (Feb 7, 1998). He was 48 and a longtime El Paso resident.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou; his son, Jesus Lopez; his daughter, Nicole Lopez; his parents, John C. McKinley and Fausteena McKinley; his brothers, Ronnie McKinley and Bobby McKinley; and his sister, Doddie Markam. 
Visitation will be from 2 to 9 pm today in Hillcrest Funeral Home.  Funeral time is pending for Tuesday in Scotsdale Baptist Church.  Burial will be in Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
