Arthur -Irene Elizabeth Haney, 90, of Arthur died 6:55 a.m. Thursday (March 16, 1995) in St. Mary’s Hospital, Decatur.  Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Shrader Funeral Home, Arthur, with the Rev. Dr. Ray Owens officiating. Visitation will be one hour before services. Burial will be in Arthur Cemetery. Memorials: Arthur United Methodist Church.  Mrs. Haney was born May 12, 1904, in Cadwell, the daughter of Dolph and Clara Belle Roberts Fulfer. She was a homemaker and a member of Arthur United Methodist Church, the Alpha Ruth Circle at the church and a former member of Order of the Eastern Star. She married Denzil Leland Haney on Nov. 7, 1925, in Arthur. He preceded her in death on Feb. 22, 1995.  Surviving are her son, Robert L. and wife Harriet Haney of Olney; sister, Doris House of Arthur; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Haney of Arthur; grandchildren, Robin LeGrand of Bridgeport; Scott Haney of Norman, Okla.; Jill Laughlin and Kari Haney, both of Olney; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one son, Gene Haney.
