MINERAL WELLS - Charles Eugene Hanchey Sr., 69, owner of Hanchey Leathergoods since 1951, died Monday, June 22, 1999, at a Fort Worth hospital.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Mineral Wells. Burial: Woodland Park Cemetery in Mineral Wells.
Charles Eugene Hanchey Sr. was born Feb. 14, 1930, in Bryson. He was a member of the Mineral Wells Jaycees.
Survivors: Son, Charles Hanchey Jr. of Mineral Wells; daughter, Rosanna Hanchey Lewis of Mineral Wells; grandchildren, Shawn Lewis, Jeffrey Lewis, Chrystal Fewell, Jeremy Lewis and Mysti Soule; great-grandchildren, Jacob Hanchey, Dylan and Kyle Lewis and Sydney Fewell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
