HARLAN E. HACKETT Dec. 30, 1912 -- July 31, 2001 Harlan Easton Hackett , 88, of Turlock died Tuesday at Emanuel Medical Center. Mr. Hackett was a native of Hurley, S.D. He lived in Turlock 25 years. He was a maintenance engineer for Lakewood General Hospital 20 years. He was master of the Turlock Grange Lodge 553 for 20 years, master of Stanislaus-Pomona Grange five years and a member of the Waterford and Atwater granges. He was a member of Seniors in Retirement, president of Senior Citizens and a former member of the Denair Lions Club. He is survived by his wife, Ida Vincent of Turlock; children, Jo Ann Loomis of Reno and Jill Dahlgren of Lake Almanor; a sister, Irma Vernon of Lakewood; and seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday at Monte Vista Chapel. Burial at Turlock Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 8:30 a.m. to noon Monday at Allen Mortuary.
