Dorothy Helen Fulfer Simms Young

GODLEY - Dorothy Helen Fulfer Simms Young, 74, a homemaker, fell asleep safely in the arms of her savior Saturday at home.
Life celebration: 11 a.m. today at Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home in Cleburne. Burial: Godley Cemetery.
Mrs. Young, a lifelong Godley resident, was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Her first husband, John Garvin Simms, died in 1977.
Her second husband, William D. Young, died in 1987.
Memorials: First United Methodist Church of Godley Building Fund.
Survivors: She leaves five loving children to cherish her memory: Three sons, John Simms of Fairfield, Gary Simms of Joshua and Don Simms of Granbury; two daughters, Janice Cole of Fairfield and Ann Young of Arlington; brother, Jerry "Buck" Fulfer of Glen Rose; three sisters, Marie Payne of Cleburne, Margarette Trawick of Lakeside Village and Sue Callowhill of Duncanville; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous relatives and friends.
