Funeral services for William Jennings Wylie, 69, of Stephenville will be held at 2:00 p.m. today in Stephenville
Funeral Home Chapel. Ralph Starling will officiate with J. Henry Cox assisting. Interment will be in Exray Cemetery under
the direction of Stephenville Funeral Home. Mr. Wylie was born in Exray Community on December 2, 1903. In 1926, he married
the former Lucille Sageser in Stephenville. Mr. Wylie was a member of the Church of Christ and the Masonic Lodge. He had resided
in California for 30 years and moved to Stephenville from Arkansas where he had resided only a few months. Survivors include;
his widow, Lucille Wylie of the home; a grandson, Jimmy Wayne Tate of Colton, Calif. ; a grandson, John Robert Tate of Houston;
a granddaughter, Mrs. Merelanne Whitley of Stephenville and Elizabeth Dawn Tate of Tempe, Arizona. Mr. Wylie's only daughter,
Mary Elizabeth Tate, preceded him in death in 1970. He is also survived by six brothers; John Wylie of Lingleville, Dick Wylie
of Exray, Henry Wylie of Hobbs, N.M., P.D. Wylie of Exray and Cage Wylie of Stephenville. Mr. Wylie is also survived by a
sister, Mrs. Rex Cates of Stephenville.
