Exray Rites Held Saturday Morning For Victor Wylie Victor L. Wylie, age 50, who was widely known in Erath County where
he was born, died in a Ranger hospital Thursday, Oct 25, at 11 p.m. Funeral services were scheduled for 11 a.m Saturday in
the Exray church, with Rev. E. L. Scarbrough of Fort Worth officiating. Interment was to be in Exray Cemetery. Born in
Erath County January 17, 1906, Wylie had lived in Ranger for the past several years, having previously been a resident of
Mingus. He has many relatives and friends in Stephenville and throughout the county. Surviving are his brothers, John Wylie
of Stephenville, R. T. Wylie of Hobbs, N. M., R. D. Wylie of Mingus, W. J. Wylie of Colton, Calif., Kelsie Wylie of Fort Worth,
and Cage Wylie of Mingus; also two sisters, Mrs. C. E. Miller of Ranger and Mrs. Rex Dates of Stephenville.
