Funeral Services for Lahoma Wylie of Hobbs will be at 1 p.m. on Mon, Jan. 8, at Taylor Memorial Baptist Church. The
Rev. Dean Mathis and Chaplain Leon Green will officiate. Burial will follow at Prairie Haven Cemetery. Visitation will
be Sunday from 1-8 p.m and Monday until 11:30 a.m. The family will greet friends Sunday from 4-6 p.m. Mrs. Lahoma,
86, was born April 17, 1915 in Magnum, Okla. She moved to Hobbs in 1944 and worked as a nurse until her retirement. She
was an original member of the kitchen band and was a member of the Rebekka, VFW, and the Moose Lodge. She was an avid
seamstress and crocheted, as well. She was proceded in death by two husbands, Oddie Trotter and H. C. Wylie; a son, Kenneth
Trotter and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include two sons, Carrol Trotter of Colorado City, Texas, and Charles
Trotter of Hobbs; two daughters, Starlie Shaw of Seminole and Karren Teague of Hobbs; 14 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren
and eight great- great children (sic). Memorial contributions may be made Vista Care Family Hospice, 1313 Calle Sur. Hobbs.
