Nelson Wylie, 71, of Simms Valley Community, died March 1, 1998, in Fort Worth.
Visitation is today from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Stephenville Funeral Home. Funeral services are Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Huckabay Church of Christ with Garland Sampson officiating. Burial will follow in Exray Cemetery.
He was born April 15, 1926, in Erath County. He married Frances Venable on Dec. 6, 1947, in Ranger.
He was a member of Huckabay Church of Christ and a resident of Erath County. He was a dozer operator and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Frances; one daughter, Diane Kellar of Grandbury; tow grandsons, Joshua and Justin Kellar; his mother, Etoyle Wylie of Stephenville; one brother, Harold Wylie of Simms Valley Community; one sister, Juanita Faye Elston of Madras, Ore; and several nieces and nephews.
