MINERAL WELLS - Lee Doyle "L.D." Wilhite Jr., 61, a retired television and electronic appliance repairman, died Thursday
at home. Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday at Fairview Baptist Church in Palo Pinto County. Burial: Willow Pond Cemetery in Palo
Pinto. Mr. Wilhite was born Sept. 19, 1933, in Fort Towson, Okla., and had lived in Mineral Wells since 1975. He served
in the military. Mr. Wilhite was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. He married Mary Lou Durham on July 31, 1973, in
Mineral Wells. She preceded him in death on Jan. 20, 1995. Survivors: Daughters, Sharon Barrett of Hurst and Karen Peninger
and Judy Denson, both of Fort Worth; stepdaughter, Darlene Nelson of Mineral Wells; brothers, William Ross Wilhite of Fort
Worth and Kenneth Wilhite of Aledo; sisters, Wanda Carroll, Joyce Chilton, Norma Wilhite and Shirley Taylor, all of Fort Worth,
and Peggy Hamilton and Linda Hudson, both of Aledo; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and
