The Death of Willis Walker At Arcadia
Family Resided In the County Twenty Years

Willis Walker died at his home in Arcadia Monday evening of ailments which developed into pneumonia following an illness of several weeks.  No arrangements had been made for the funeral at noon, Tuesday, but it was understood that the burial will occur at Arcadia.  He was seventy-three years of age.
The deceased was taken to the Methodist hospital at Indianapolis early last week but was brought home Friday, at which time he seemed to be getting along very well.  He suffered a relapse Sunday and felled rapidly until the end.   Two of his children who reside in Pennsylvania and who started for the parental home, Sunday, did not reach Arcadia until about two hours after the death of their father. He is survived by the widow, three children, Charles Walker, of Boylestown, PA.; Mrs. Robert King, of Bethlehem, PA., and Mrs. Mary McNeal of Russiaville, Howard county, and three grandchildren.  A brother, Thomas Walker, and sister, Mrs. Mary Buxton, both of Arthur, Ill., are also living.
The deceased was born in Mineral, Wis., March 14, 1853, being a son of James and Matilda Walker.  On December 10, 1891, he was married to Miss Ellen Fulfer, at Arthur, Ill. The family moved to Arcadia about twenty years ago.  Mr. Walker, during the last few months was employed Jenkins glass factory, but most of the time he resided in Arcadia he worked at other places.  He was a Mason, being identified with the lodge at Arthur, Ill., and also a member of the M.
