Body Transferred Here
The body of Margaret Tulfer (sic), who died in Champaign and was shipped to Arthur for burial,
was transferred here Saturday. The funeral party arrived here just after noon via the Illinois Central. The train was
met by the funeral car of J. C. Waddington, who transferred the casket to the C & E I station, and the party left here
in the afternoon for Arthur, where it was understood the funeral would be held on Sunday.The deceased formerly lived in Arthur
and was a stranger here.

Fulfer Funeral
The funeral of Mrs. Margaret M. Fulfer, wife of Willis Fulfer, was held from the Lincoln Street Christian
church Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. Mr. Wilkerson, pastor of the Methodist church having charge of the service.
The
church choir sang "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" and "Asleep in Jesus," both favorite hymns of the deceased.
Mrs. Fupfler
(sic) was the daughter of late Mr. and Mrs. James Lane, pioneer residents of this community, having spent most of her life
in this vicinity, moving to Champaign several years ago, where she passed away after a three week illness of flu and pneumonia.
The
body was brought here Saturday afternoon to the home of her son, Hammie Adams, where in lay in state until the hour of her
funeral.
Mrs. Fulfer was the mother of eight children, seven of whom with the husband survive. She also leaves twenty-seven
grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends. She was about sixty-four years of age. Burial
in city cemetery.
