Edna Ann Carter, 59 of Celeste died Thursday morning at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas. Funeral services will
be at 4 p.m. Sunday at Kingston United Methodist Church with Rev. Ricky Huggins and Rev. Marsha Engle officiating. Burial
will be in Money Cemetery.
She was born Sept. 30, 1940 in Dallas to William B. Fulfer and Marie M. Wade Fulfer. On Aug. 24, 1957 she married
James L. Carter in Durant, Okla. Mrs. Carter was a homemaker and a member of Kingston United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband of Celeste; sons Russell Carter, Kenneth Carter and Curtis Carter, all of Celeste
and Raymond Carter of Carrolton; a daughter, Lisa Horton of Bonham; Sister Veta Fae Leach of Granbury; 10 grandchildren and
one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Berta Mae Stanglin and a brother, William Wade Fulfer.
Pallbearers will be Danny Lipsey, Weldon Sheets, Michael Sheets, Wade Sheets, Orville Gentry and Terry Carter.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home, of Greenville.
