Joe Gose

SLATON (Special) - Graveside services for Joe Eddie Gose Jr., 79, of Lubbock will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park with Elizabeth Abraham, chaplain of Hospice of Lubbock, officiating.
Burial will be under direction of Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.
He died Friday, June 13, 1997, at his residence.
He was born July 12, 1917, in Bridgeport. He married Ella Marie Sherrin on Aug. 27, 1939, in Walters, Okla.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Gerald Wayne of Nacogdoches and Eddie Duayne of College Station; two brothers, Louis of Blackwell, Okla., and Farris of Deming, N.M.; a sister, Bertha Berg of Fort Worth; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
