Oklahomans Hurt in Fatal Car Crash

M’Kinney, Texas, April 5
One person was injured fatally and four injured, two seriously, when an automobile crashed into a roadside ditch two miles north of here early Sunday.
The dead:
R. R. (Thomas) Evans, 37 years old, fireman, Houston.
The injured:
Mrs. Evans, the widow. Internal injuries and injuries to right leg.  Miss Mabelle Coffey of Roff, Okla., Mrs. Evan’s sister, internal injuries. Rufus Thomas, 13 years old, son of Mr. and Mrs. Evans, slight injuries. Loren Hughey, Ada, Okla., slight injuries.
Evans was on a vacation, and the party was en route to Roff to visit  Mrs. Evans parents.  The accident  came  after an all night drive from Houston, beginning late Saturday.
