Blum Resident Dies Wednesday
Mrs. Irene Elmore, 77, of Rt. 1, Blum, died Wednesday at a Cleburne hospital.
Mrs. Elmore had been a resident of Rt. 1, Blum for 50 years. She was born in Glen Rose July 14, 1886, the daughter of
Joseph and Edna Gaskell Pace. She married Jessie Franklin Elmore, Sept. 6, 1904, in Glen Rose.
Mrs. Elmore was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by her husband; five sons, W. J. and James Elmore of Fort Worth, and Jodie, Jessie and Jack Elmore of
Dallas; tow daughters, MRs. Gladys Veville of Dallas and Mrs. Winnie Paulk of Amarillo; one broterh, Virgil Pace of Waxahachie;
five sisters, Mrs. Josie Fulfer of Kerens, Mrs. Ruthie Adams of Cleburne, Mrs. Nellie Ice of Glen Rose, Mrs. Mattie Clayton
of Walnut Springs and Mrs. Ivey McCarty of Abilene; 29 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral service for Mrs. Elmroe will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Crosier Pearson Chapel. Interment will be in
Blum.
