Fannie Lee Elmore
Fannie Lee Elmore, 89, of Whitney passed away June 5, 2003. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 8, 2003,
at Marshall & Marshall Chapel in Whitney, with Dr. Allan Lane of Fort Graham Baptist Church officiating. Interment
will be in Blum Cemetery in Blum. She was born Aug. 5, 1913, in Covington, the daughter of David Edward and Sarah (Ince)
Gray. She married William Jerry Elmore on Nov. 25,1930, and he preceded her in death on April 28, 1977. She was a seamstress
for Tandy Leather Cooperation, retiring in 1977. She enjoyed her family, cooking, church work, eastern star, gardening
and flowers. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Whitney and the Order of Eastern Star 930. She was preceded
in death by her parents, two sons, Billy Ray Elmore and Wilburn Durrel Elmore; granddaughter, Julie Elmore and a great-grandson,
Tristan Yancey, Survivors are children, Jolene Franklin and husband, Travis of Whitney, Rickey Elmore and wife, Janet of Weatherford,
Jerry S. Elmore of Clifton, Jessy Elmore and wife, Inetta of Whitney; brother, Samuel Gray and wife, Lou of Hurst; sisters:
Lucille Watson of Grandview, Mary Nedelkovich of Quitman, Ark.; 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces
and nephews and many friends Visitation was 6-8 p.m. Saturday, at Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney. Marshall
