Deceased Name: Mary Ellen Bennett MINGUS - Mary Ellen Bennett, 54, died Friday, Feb. 20, 1998, at a Stephenville hospital.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church in Gordon.
Burial: Exray Cemetery in Erath County. Rev. Randy Smith will officiate.

Mrs. Bennett was born Feb. 6, 1944, in Hobbs, N.M. to Wilson and Nelda Massey Bennett. She moved to Salinas, Calif. in 1946, and back to Gordon in 1978. She enjoyed sewing, embroidery, hook latch and being with people and children. She was saved as a young child, and she is with Christ now.
Survivors: Mother; four brothers; three sisters; two aunts; and one great-aunt.
