Commerce-Services for Commerce resident, Joe R. "Nub" Bussell will be at 2 p.m. today at Pemberton Funeral Chapel with Rev. Mike Wilson and Rev. Roy Lee Dittmar officiating. Burial will be in Rosemound Cemetery.

Mrs. Bussell died Monday at Presbyterian Hospital of Commerce at the age of 80.

Born in Winnsboro on Jan. 25. 1915, he was the son of William Frank and Alice Gertrude Coker Bussell. He married Sally Pauline Fulfer on Sept. 14, 1940. Mr. Bussell moved from Celeste to Commerce 32 years ago. He was a cotton ginner and farmer, retiring in 1985. He was a deacon and member of the Men's Sunday school class of Ridgecrest Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife; five daughters, Delores Willaby of Balch Springs, Sally Jackson of Witts Point, Kathy Cripe of Walkerton, Ind. Linda Hudson and Paula Bussell of commerce; two sons, Robert Bussell of Dallas and Mark Bussell of Commerce; brother, Billie Allen of Yantis; two sisters, Marie Franks of Arlington and Dorothy Linder of Roswell, N.M.; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.

Pallbearers will be Loyl Bussell, Rodney Allen, A. J. Jackson, Eugene McCasland, Kirby Hudson and Robert Bussell. Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of Ridgecrest Baptist Church, Joseph Willaby and Everett Bussell.
