Elmer Brumley
Clarksville--Elmer (Pop) Brumley, 78, of Paris died Sunday, Feb. 3, at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, in Lineman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home. burila will
be in Restland Cemetery at Cunningham.
Mr. Brumley was born in Blackgum, Okla., on Nov. 19, 1912, a son of William and Maggie Brumley. He was a Baptist.
Surviving are four sons, Robert Brumley of Paris, Jimmy Brumley of Paris, Charles Brumley , Lake Tawakoni, and
Johnny Brumley, San Angelo: four daughters, Velvet Winkle of Clarendon, Peggy Smith of Detroit, Paula Murphy of Bagwell, and
Evangeline Black of Paris; one sister, Mary Audas of Avery; one brother, Buck Brumley, Visilia, Calif.; several half brothers
and sister; 30 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
