ODESSA -- Faye Josaphine Bruce, 93, of Odessa, a retired school teacher and homemaker, died Friday, May 15, 1998, at New Horizons Nursing Home.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, May 19, 1998, at Ector County Cemetery. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

She was born in Palo Pinto County and moved to Odessa in the 1930s from Erath County. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors: Daughter, Avalon Bruce of Odessa; and one grandchild.
