BURNS
Commerce-Mrs. Annie C. Burns, 87, of Route 1, Commerce died Monday at 9 a.m. in a local hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in W. Y. Goff Chapel with Rev. N. D. Gilmore officiating. Burial will
be in South Sulphur Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Moreland, Larry Moreland, Ricky-Jatton-Jerry-Jatton-Clovis Mills and David Arnold.
She was born on Feb. 1, 1891 in Texas, the daughter of Jasper Clayton and Mahaley Fulfer Clayton.
She was married to Hugh Burn in 1965 in Fort Worth. He preceded her in death on March 6, 1970. Mrs. Burns was
a member of the College St. Baptist Church.
Survivors include five sons, Jeff Moreland of Michigan, Wylie Moreland of Fort Worth, Earl Moreland of Fort
Worth, Marvin Moreland of Sulphur Springs, and Arvel Moreland of Commerce; three daughters, Mrs. Maye Follis of Sulphur Springs,
Mrs. Faye Abbott of Fort Worth and Mrs. Canalou Arnold of Fort Worth; two brothers, Jack Clayton of Oklahoma and Jim Clayton
of Commerce; two sisters, Mrs. Dollie Earwood of Fort Worth and Mrs. Bertie Fulfer of Commerce; and 16 grandchildren.
She is also survived by nine stepchildren, Dora Earwood, Pauline Clark, Cleon Fielden, Mildred Hook, Eddie Kelly,
Leon Kelly, Perry Joe Burns, Allen Hugh Burns and Laura Abbott.
