Sam Fulfur Succumbs to Illness
Was One of the Older Citizens of the Town Living all His Life.
Sam Fulfer, 63, Died at his home here Thursday night at 12:30, after an illness of several weeks with high blood
pressure and other complications. He had been in failing health for some time.
He is survived by his wife, a son, James Fulfer, three daughters, Mrs. David Hardy, of Crossville, Mrs. Dennis
Gholston and Mrs. Harold Dugan, city, and a brother Jerry Fulfer.
Interment was made in the Lasater cemetery Saturday morning, following services at the Baptist church conducted
by Rev. C. L. Morris of Richard City.
Mr. Fulfer, a farmer, was one of the older residents of the place and a son of Nicholas Fulfer, who was a veteran
of the G. A. R. post formerly. He was a hard-working man attending to his own business, and having very clear ideas of right
and wrong.
