Fulfer Services Held At Kamay

Funeral services for Mrs. Fred Fulfer, 49, of Valley View, mother of 13 children who died in a Wichita Falls hospital Sunday, were held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Assembly of God Church at Kamay, with Rev. Aaron Wall, pastor, officiating.

Burial was in the Iowa Park Cemetery under the direction of the Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.

A resident of Wichita Falls for 17 years, Mrs. Fulfer is survived by her husband; nine sons, C.R. Fulfer of Electra, F.A. of Kamay, Charles Ray, O.L., B.G., J.W., W.H., R.D., and J.D. all of Valley View; four daughters, Mrs. W.D. Young of South Fork, Calif., Mrs. R.E. Glasgow, Miss Helen Fulfer and Miss Shirley Fulfer of Valley View; three brothers, O.L. Fields and J.W. Fields of Comanche, Okla., and P.M. Fields of Okla. City; five sisters, Mrs. Mary Battenfield of Comanche, Okla., Mrs. Ada Ward of Waurika, Okla., Mrs. Annie Crabb of Ringling, Okla., Mrs. Dan Sellers of Duncan, Okla., Mrs. Fred Sharp of Comanche, Okla., and nine grandchildren.

Noma lived in Valley View Community, out west of Wichita Falls, Tx, for seventeen years.  The known places that they lived are Rush Springs, Ok, Waurika, OK, Gordon, Tx, Mineral Wells, Tx Valley View, TX. Valley View is where Noma raised her thirteen children by herself. Noma and Fred were separated.  She made a living for her and her children, with the help of her older children.  Most of the kids pulled cotton and other odd jobs. After her death, the older children took the younger ones in to live with them.
