DUPREE FULFER

Worland-A funeral service for Maxine Dupree Fulfer, 89, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church with Pastor Fred smith officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

 

She died March 5, 2001, at Washakie Medical Center in Worland.

 

She was born May 24, 1911, in Ryegate, Mont., a daughter of Bert Leroy and Norma Dimmick Mosley.

 

She was raised in Montana, Illinois, and Colorado.

 

She married Wallace Henry Dupree on Dec. 24, 1931, in Kanarado, Kan.

 

They moved to Otto in 1935 and then in Cody and Worland before moving to Kirksvile, Mo., because of her husband's health.

 

He preceded her in death in April 1949.

 

In 1950, she returned to Worland.

 

she worked for Singer Sewing Machine for 11 years and for Geis Trucking for 14 years until she retired.

 

She married JC "Slim" Fulfer on Feb. 14, 1980, and he preceded her in death in March 1990.

 

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Worland and her hobbies included sewing, reading and working crossword puzzles.

 

Survivors include two sons, James A. Dupree and his wife of Roundup, Mont., and Dean Dupree and his wife of Worland, a daughter, Merle E. Shyne and her husband of Billings, Mont.: a brother, Frnak Mosley of Worland; tow sisters, Nina Snyder of Basin and Fay Williams of Kerrville, Texas, 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Betty Hall, Irene Williams, and Norma Crowder; her son, Robert Leroy Dupree, two husbands and one granddaughter.
