Martin Andrew Fulfer, his wife, Lee Anna Crites Fulfer, and their seven children came to Frederick from Wichita Falls
in 1920. Fulfer, a skilled cabinet maker, died in 1922. His widow made a home for her children and continued to
live in Frederick until 1973. She then moved to Austin, Texas. Of the seven Fulfer children, four are living:
Bonnah Dell (Mrs. Thurman Covey), Austin, Texas; Willia Dean (Mrs. Emrie Hamers), New Orleans, Louisana; Duane Victor, Gruver,
Texas; and Martin Andrew Jr., Austin, Texas. The deceased children are: Addie Elaine (Mrs. Homa Matthews), Thelton,
and Helen Grace (Mrs. H. L. Gilly).
The following are grandchildren of Martin and Lee Anna Fulfer: P. T. Matthews, son of Homa T. Matthews, stepson
of Addie Elaine; Jay Victor, Joy Beth, and Joe, children of Duane Victor and Marie Jamison Fulfer; Charles Alan and Martin
Timothy, children of Martin A. and Wanda Wearmouth Fulfer; Catherine Michael and Terrance Shan Covey, children of Thurman
and Bonnah Dell Covey; Gary Gay Gilly.
The great-grandchildren are: Tommy Gus Matthews and Tracy Matthews, children of Phillip T. and Loyce Laney Matthews;
Leigh, Stephen, and Lael Kittredge, children of Michael Covey and Clarence Kittredge; Erik Ashley Fulfer, son of Charles Alan
and Judy Wilson Fulfer; and six grandchildren of Duane Victor and Marie Jamison Fulfer.
