ODESSAN DIES, RITES ARE SET
L. B. Fulfer, 51, 1711 La Casa, died at his home Sunday about 11 p.m of an apparent of a heart attack. Justice
of Peace J. A. Purlroy, ruled death from natural causes.
A truck driver for H & H Electric Co., he was born in Matador on July 17, 1919 and was married Aug. 8, 1948
in Coleman to Bonnie Wayne of Constable. Fulfer came to Odessa from Novice in 1949. He was a Methodist and an Army veteren
of World War II.
Survivors are his widow; five sons, Lester A. of the home; Dickie E. of 500 N. Graham, Rodney of 2223 Truman,
Charley of the home and David of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Jane Burnes of Odessa, and Verna Lynn of the home; four
sisters, Sarah Gonzales of Warren, Alma Simpson of Midland, Mrs. Loree Joyner of Midland, and Mrs. Dortha Billio, 409 Glendale;
three brothers; Earl Lee McAdoo, J. D. of 611 West Clifford, and Walter of Tarzan; and five children (this is the correct
statement on obit, probably grandchild)
Services will be 4 p.m Wednesday in the Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Thorpe, Pastor of
the Temple Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
