Fulfer Rites Set for Monday
Funeral services for Mrs. Laura Jane Fulfer, 74, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Coker-Matthews-Peters
chapel with the Rev. Charles Simmons of Commerce officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Fulfer died at 8 p.m. Friday in a local hospital after an illness of five years. Her usual residence was
3422 Henry St.
She was born August 17, 1895 in Whitewrite the daughter of Sye and Julie Walker Jackson. On November 29, 1910,
she married Grover C. Fulfer at Wolfe City. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
She was preceeded in death by her husband in 1951. She is survived by two sons, Grover Fulfer of Dallas and
Malcolm Fulfer of Commerce; three daughters, Mrs. Vida Sherrin of Tokio, Mrs. Noeme Mashburn of Commerce and Miss Bernada
Fulfer of Greenville; one brother, Ray Jackson of (left out), Mrs. Kallie Daniels of Watonga, Okla., two sisters; and Mrs.
Margarette Jackson of Roscoe and five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
