Joe Fulfer, 23, of 2606 Maxwell died early Friday at his home after a one month illness.

 

Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. today in Resthaven Memorial Park with the Rev. Lindsay McQuold, associate minister of St. Luke's United Methodist Church, officiating. Newnie W. Ellis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

 

He was born Jan. 8, 1950 in Guyman, Okla. He lived in Gruver before moving to Midland in 1980. He was a 1981 graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in economics and was an accountant at John Wilson Drilling Company. He was a Methodist.

 

Survivors include his mother, Marie Fulfer of Midland; a brothers, Jay Fulfer of Midland, and two sisters, Joy Moore of Bury St. Edmunds, England, and Sue Smith of Woodward, Okla.

 

The family requests memorials be directed to Hospice, P.O. Box 2621, Midland, 79702.
