Funeral services, 79, were held Tuesday in Foskey Funeral Home's Ivy Chapel of Dimmitt with the Rev. Van Earl
Hughes, retired minister, and the Rev. Craig Curry, pastor of Hale Center First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial
was in Westlawn Memorial Park by Foskey Funeral Home.
Mr. Fulfer died Sunday, Dec. 30, 1990, at his residence in Hale Center following a lengthy illness.
He was born in House, N.M. He married Juanita Gilbreath in 1934 in Pampa. He was a longtime businessman in Dimmitt
and Hale Center.
After moving to Hale Center, Mr. Fulfer operated a used furniture and antique store on Main Street. Mr. Fulfer
was a man who did business in an old fashioned manner. He enjoyed horse trading with customers. With gentle nature and sound
old fashion advice, his store front was often for community bull sessions.
Survivors include his wife; a son Kenneth; a daughter, Wynema Adams of Hale Center; six grandchildren; and one
great-grandchild.
The family suggests memorials to the Hodges Cancer Center, care of Lubbock Hospital.
