Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 3:00 p.m in the Graham Street Church of Christ for John Lanson Boggus, 87, who passed away Saturday morning in the Stephenville Hospital.

Ralph Starling will officiate, with burial in the Exray Cemetery under the direction of Stephenville Funeral Home.

Born February 27, 1885, in Hill County, Boggus was a retired farmer and had lived in Stephenville 28 years. He married Fannie Davis on December 2, 1907.

Survivors include the widow; two daughters, Mrs. Oza Clepper of Henderson, Nev., And Mrs. Ervie Hays of Midland; and a brother, Robert Thomas Boggus, Jr. of Mingus.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Gaines, Cecil Davis, Collin B. Jones, J. C. Helm, Telefus Cawyer, and Roland Medeley.
