FINAL RITES SET ON FRIDAY

 

Services for 10:30 a.m in Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home are set for J. D. (Shorty) Fulfer, 51, a retired mechanic who live at 820 W. 59th. He was death on arrival Tuesday morning at Medical Center Hospital. Rev. Jerry Thorpe of Temple Baptist Church will officiate.

 

Graveside services at 3 p.m. Friday will be conducted in Rough Creek Cemetery Friday. An autopsy has been ordered.

 

He was born in Matador on July 05, 1921, and married Virginia T. Motes Feb. 14, 1969. He came to Odessa in 1951 from Novice and was a member of the Methodist Church and a veteren of World War II.

 

Survivors include the widow, of the home; a daughter, Sally Loree Fuler (sic) of 611 West Clifford; three sons, Jerry Fulfer of Ft. Food (sic), Larry Fulfer and Austin Fulfer both of 611 West Clifford; three stepsons, Larry Motes of Yuma, Ariz., and Allen Motes and Byran Motes both of 820 West 59th; three step-daughters, Brenda O'Donnel of 2006 West 43rd, and Vicki O'Donnel and Cassie O'Donnel both of 820 West 59th; two brothers, Earl Fulfer of Macadoo, and Walter Fulfer of Tarzan; four sister, Mrs. Fortha Baillo of 409 Glendale, Mrs. Alma Simpson and Mrs Loree Joyner, both of Midland, and Mrs. Sarah Gonzales of Warren; and two grandchildren.
