born on October 23,1856,in Georgia.At an early age she became a Christian,uniting with the Christian Church.In 1872 she was
united in marriage to Mr.J.A.BISCOE at Tyler,Texas.To this union seven children were born;three boys four girls.The husband
of this marriage passed away in 1888.In 1892 Mrs.Biscoe was united in marriage to Mr.Zack FULFER at Commanche,Texas.She and
her husband have resided at Carter,Oklahoma,for the past thirteen years.Mrs.FULFER was honored and loved by the residents
of this community.After a lingering illness,covering a period of many months,Mrs.FULFER passed away at her home in Carter,Oklahoma,on
March 21,1928,at 9 a.m.She was 72 years,4 months and 29 days old.Two of her daughters have preceeded her in death,and besides
her husband,she leaves to mourn her,passing the following sons and daughters;Mr.W.W.BISCOE,Carter,Okla.,Mr.Dee BISCOE,Carter,Okla.,Mr.Reid
BISCOE,Carter,Okla.,Mrs.Otis CHILCOT,Hedley,Texas,Mrs.J.H.MAGNESS,Comanche,Texas.Funeral services were conducted by Rev.Carl
V.COVEY,Pastor of the First Christian church of Elk City. Funeral arrangments were in charge of GENTRY-KILLOUGH Funeral Home,and
interment was made in the Carter cemetery. ************************************************************ Mrs.Fannie FULFER,wife
of Mr.Zack FULFER,died at their home here in Carter Wednesday morning after an illness of many months,being afflicted with
that dreaded disease,cancer.During the time of her affliction Mrs.FULFER had been under the care and treatment of the best
doctors and specialist that could be procured,but continued to grow worse although she was hopeful almost to the end.Mrs.FULFER
had been a resident of Carter for the past thirteen years,during which time she has endeared herself to the hearts of the
people of Carter and surrounding country.Since coming to Carter and up to the time that she was taken ill,Mrs.FULFER had a
millinery store in Carter and her little shop was always a bright cheerful place where the ladies enjoyed gathering,not only
to purchase millinery but to pleasantly pass the time away.It was here that so many learned to love Mrs.FULFER and to know
what a lovable character she was.The Funeral services were held at the Baptist Church here,and the funeral sermon was preached
by the pastor of the Christian Church of Elk City.Mrs.FULFER being a member of the Christian Church.Besides a devoted husband
Mrs.FULFER leaves the folowing children:W.W.BISCOE,Reid BISCOE,and Dee BISCOE of Carter,Mrs.Robt.CHILCOAT of Hedley,Texas,Mrs.John
MAGNESS of Comanche,Texas and a large number of grandchildren to mourn her passing away.
