Betty Blankenship
COMMERCE - Betty G. Blankenship, 54, of Commerce died Wednesday at North Texas VA Health Care Systems. There
isa graveside service today at 3 p.m. at Oaklawn Cemetery in Cooper with Jeanette Harris, Toni Moreland and Sue Mayer officiating.
She was born Aug. 4, 1943 in Cooper to Floyd "Cobb" Smith and Hazel Willis Smith.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law Dallas and Melissa Blankenship of Lone Oak and Marty and Toni Moreland
of Commerce; brothers Jerry F. Smith of Belton and James H. Smith of Fort Worth; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands Bill Blankenship and Earl Moreland.
Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home of Commerce is in charge of arrangements.
