Delbert Ansil Fulfer
(November 16, 1922- February 5, 1991)
Delbert A. Fulfer, 68, of Clay City, Illinois died at 7:20 a.m. on February 5, 1991, at Olney, Illinois. Mr.
Fulfer was born November 16, 1922, in Oskaloosa, Illinois, a son of Ansil Harry and Mary Elfie Alphin Fulfer. He married Helen
Beatrice Peacher on June 7, 1948. He married Edna Murbarger Tooley on December 18, 1970. Both survive.
Mr. Fulfer was of the Baptist faith. He worked as a laborer and an electrician and was a WWII Army veteran.
He was a member of the VFW, American Legion, and Masonic Lodge.
Survivors besides his wife include three sons, Tony Keith Fulfer of Champaign, IL., John Tooley of Olney, IL.,
and David Patrick Tooley of San Diego, CA.; two daughters, Mrs. Theresa (Neal) Webster of Bloomington, IL., and Mrs. Thelma
(Steve) Quandt of Iuka IL.; two brothers, Kenneth Richard Fulfer of Xenia, IL., and Robert Laverne Fulfer of Plainfield, IL.;
two sisters, Bessie Jeans and Clela Logan, both of Farina IL.; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Mr. Fulfer was preceded in death by his parents, one son and two sisters.
Funeral services were held Friday at Frank and Bright Funeral Home, Flora, IL. where Masonic services were performed
during visitation. Burial was in
Oskaloosa Cemetery, Oskaloosa, IL with full military rites. Memorials may
be made to St. Jude's Hospital, Shriner's Hospital, or Veterans'
Administration Hospital Fund.
