Willis Fulfer, Former Arthur Man, Dies in Champaign
Word reached here this morning of the death in Campaign of Willis Fulfer, aged 77, who for many years was a
resident of Arthur. Deceased had been ill for a lone time and spent the last four months confined to his bed. He was afflicted
with paralysis.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 o'clock from the First M. E. church, with the local pastor, Rev. F.
E. Neumeyer, n charge of the services. Burial will be in the Arthur cemetery.
Mr. Fulfor is survived by three sons, and one daughter, as follows: Fred, jesse, Roy, and Mrs. Lelah Bennett,
all residents of Champaign. Hammie Adams, of Arthur is a step-son. His wife passed away six years ago.
When in this city Mr. Fulfer worked as a gardner and orchardist, in which lines of work he was an expert. Among
other things he did when here was to get out the trees, in our city park.
Deceased came in Arthur from Indiana, moving from here to Ocaloosa, Clay county, Ill., and from there to Champaign,
where he had lived for the last 12 to 15 years.
