Funeral services for Claude Jack Fulfer Jr., 53, of 2043 East 22nd St., are scheduled for 3 p.m. Friday at Darling-Mouser Chapel with burial in Buena Vista Burial Park under the direction of Darling-Mouser Funeral Home.

Fulfer, operator of a cigar and newstand at the post office, died Wednesday at Mercy Hospital.

He was born in San Benito and had resided in Brownsville 19 years.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Berniece C. Fulfer of Brownsville: a daughter, Mrs. Wanda Cope of Neosho, Mo., a brother, Arnold Fox of Harlingen and three grandchildren, Laura, Julia and Eric Cope, all of Neosho.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Nuckois, Bob Owens, Orvie Henrickson, Chester Edlund, Calvin Jarvis and Carl Jackson.
