Sherry Lynn Kubala, 62, of Westminster, died Wednesday, June 6, 2001, at

Carroll County General Hospital.

Born May 3, 1939, in San Angelo, Texas, she was the daughter of the late

Quentin R. and Ethel Berman Lockett. She was the wife of Edward J. Kubala.

She was a homemaker and member of St. John Catholic Church.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are sons and daughters-in-law Quentin

L. and Veronica Kubala of Lake Worth, Fla., David and Tammy Kubala of York,

Pa.; brother and sister-in-law Clay and Jeanie Lockett of Palestine, Texas;

sisters and brothers-in-law Margaret and Larry Robison of Austin, Texas, and

Clara and Gary Closkey of Marshall, Texas; grandchildren Joey, Nina, Samantha

and Nicholas Kubala; two nieces; and two nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday at St. John

Catholic Church, 43 Monroe St., Westminster, with the Rev. Andrew Mohl as

celebrant. Interment will be private.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Pritts Funeral
