PALMER -- Frank E. James, 84, died Wednesday, July 18, 2001, at his home.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Givens James; and daughter, Judy James.

He is survived by daughters, Francine James and Ruth Brooks, Palmer; sons, Larry James, Palmer, and Jerry James, Skymont; sister, Marie Birdwell, Palmer; grandchildren, Dale James and Meredith Haynes; great-grandchildren, Jessica James, Megan and Morgan Haynes.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. CDT Friday in the funeral home chapel with ministers Ray Winton officiating.

Interment: Fall Creek Cemetery.
