Howard Herring, 56, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Monday, August 21, 2000. He is survived by his
mother, Hazel O. Herring of Albuquerque; sister, Dolores Garrett and husband, Russell of Albuquerque; brothers, Maurice Herring
and wife, Karen of Houston, TX, and Greg Herring and wife, Marian of Gatlinburg, MD; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Herring; and sister and brother-in-law, Antoinette and John Kreider. Mr. Herring
was born in Albuquerque. He served in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam Era. Cremation has taken place and memorial services
will be held Thursday, 4:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Deacon Bob Lewis
officiating. Private interment of cremains will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers,
memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans of New Mexico, P.O. Box 3907 #D, 87190. French Mortuary,
1111 University Blvd. NE.
