PADUCAH - Cobert Gregory, 89, died Friday, March 30, 2001, in Childress.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Garden of Memories Cemetery with the Rev. Keith Prather, pastor of Missionary Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Seigler Funeral Home.

Mr. Gregory was born Jan. 20, 1912, in Wolfe City to Jesse and Daisy Fulfer Gregory. He was a carpenter for many years in the Cottle County area.

Survivors include a son, Cobert T. Gregory Jr. of Paducah; two daughters, Shirley Bullock and Doris Furguson of Maud; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild

PADUCAH, Texas-Cobert Gregory, 89, of Paducah died Friday, March 30, 2001, in Childress, Texas.

Mr. Gregory was born Jan. 20, 1912, in Wolfe City, Texas. He was a carpenter and a member of First United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lena C. Young, on June 4, 1974, and by a grandson.

Survivors include one son, Cobert T. Gregory Jr. of Paducah; two daughters, Shirley Bullock and Doris Furguson of Maud, Texas; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Garden of Memories Cemetery with the Rev. Keith Prather officiating. Burial will be under direction of Seigler Funeral Home.
