Fitch, James L. - Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in Mish Funeral Home, Oildale. Rev. C. E. Hayes will
officiate and burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Fitch, 43, of 238 Grant Street, Shafter, died September 16 from motorcycle
injuries. He was a native of Californian and had lived in Kern County most of his life. He was a mechanic for 2 years and
was affiliated with Joe's Road Service. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Mary E.; his parents
Curtis and Lillian; his sons Michael Anthony and James Leon, Jr.; his daughters, Shelly Jean and Sonia Kay and Sherril Ann;
his brothers, Leonard, Marvin, Curtis, Donnie, and Ernest; his sisters, Marie Brander, Lynn Thornhill, Betty Hamond, and Pat
Calhoun. Pallbearers will be Leonard, Marvin, Curtis, Donnie and Ernest Fitch, John Thornhill, and Joe Calhoun.
