Commerce-Dollie Sue Earwood, 96, of Athens, formerly of Commerce, died Monday. There is a grave side service at 2 P.M. today at Rosemound Cemetery with Rev. Charles Strickland Officiating.

The daughter of William Jasper Clayton and Mahala Fulfer, she was born Oct 18, 1902, in Charleston. (Delta Co., TX). She and John T. Earwood were married Dec. 14, 1924 in the Horton Community near Commerce.

Mrs. Earwood moved from Commerce to Fort Worth in 1957 and to Athens in 1981. She was a member of the North Fort Worth Baptist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Nadine Martin and Wanda Cato, both of Irving; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Marvin Andrews, Scott Andrews, Donald Cato, Tommy Cato, James Cato and Johnny Earwood. Honorary pallbearers will be Thomas Earwood, William Earwood, and Timothy Earwood.

Pemberton Funeral Home of Commerce is in charge of arrangements.
