Lenver Dragoo
Private family services were held for Lenver Thomas Dragoo, 81, of Chico, who died Wednesday in a local convalescent
hospital.
He was born Jan. 19, 1908, in London, Texas, to Lon and Lula Dragoo. Raised in London, he later move to New
Mexico. On Jan. 19, 1937, he and his wife, Selena, were married. They lived the past 20 years in Tehama, coming to Chico two
months ago.
Dragoo was a member of the Trappers Association and the First Baptist Church in Gerber.
Survivors include two daughters, Karen McKinney of Orlando and Connie Dragoo of Anderson; two sons, Clyde of
Fall River and Dale of Alturas; two brothers, Lonzo of Gerber and Leonard of Ozona, Texas; and 11 grandchildren.
His wife died in 1988 and another brother, Keith, died in 1986.
Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
Van Hook Funeral Chapel handled the arrangements.
