Services Pending for Mrs. Dorris

CANYON-Funeral services are pending with LaGrone Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Dottie Mildred Dorris, 71, of 2622 12th Avenue in Canyon, who died at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Neblett Memorial Hospital here.

Mrs. Dorris, a Canyon resident for 17 years, was a dorm mother at West Texas State University (NOW WEST TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY) for 10 years and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, Glenn of Canyon; four daughters, Mrs. Evangeline Drennon of Fort Worth, Mrs. Wanda Van Valkenburg of Canyon,

Mrs. Waldeen Thomas of Borger (JUST NORTHWEST OF AMARILLO) and Mrs. Ann Maxwell of Denver; a sister, Mrs. E. L. Danley of Ranger; two brothers, A. H. Bordon of Roscoe, and C. R. Gordon of Huckabay; 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
