Iraan-A. D. "Chick" Dorris, 88, of Iraan died Saturday, Sept. 28, in a Crane Care Center.

Services are to be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, in the Irann Christian Church. Burial is to be held in Restland Cemetery in Iraan under the direction Richard Box Funeral of Crane.

Dorris was born Jan. 25, 1908 in Thurber, Texas. He was a driller and pumper for Marathon Oil Company. He was a member of the First Christian Church Masonic Lodge No. 1267 and El Paso Scottish Rite.

Survivors include his wife, Verna "Jack" Dorris of Iraan; a son, John Dean Dorris of Iraan; two sisters, Freda Perry and Wynta Dudley, both of Iraan, and a grandchild.
