Services for Kenneth E. Dockins, 39, of Lubbock will be at 4:30 p.m. today in the Resthaven Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Quinten Newton of the Assembly of God Church in Crowell officiating.

Entombment will be in the Garden of Peter Mausoleum at Resthaven Memorial Park.

Dockins died Saturday, April 8, 1995, in University Medical Center.

He was born Oct. 26, 1955, in Hamlin. He was a Lubbock resident for most of his life. He was general manager of the Kettle Restaurant.

Survivors include his companion, Travis Rogers; his mother, Connie Dockins of Trent; his father, Virgil Dockins of Crowell; two brothers, Wes Cummings of Lewisville and Rickey Dockins of Satellite Beach, Fla.; two sisters, Sherrill Gholson of La Grange and Carolyn Woodard of Crowell.

Pallbearers will be Michael Chambers, Michael Gholson, Jerry Dockins Jr., Gary Dockins, Chad Cummings, Cody Woodward, Wes Cummings Jr., David Dockins, Rickey Arr Dockins and Jose Puerta.

The family suggests memorials to the South Plains AIDS Resource Center.
