Funeral Services will be held for Ervin Alfred Davis, long time resident of Exray community in Erath county, Saturday, November 28, at 2:00 p.m. in the Trewitt Funeral Home Chapel.

He died at the Ranger General Hospital Thursday, November 27, after being admitted early in the day. Ervin Alfred Davis was born September 21, 1879 in Stephenville, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard H. Davis, who were early settlers in Erath County. He married Miss Flora Isabelle Fulfer in 1901 and they have made their home in Exray community for many years.

They were the parents of five children, four of whom survive.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Boyd of Fort Worth, and chief Petty Officer Henry Davis on board ship somewhere in Korea; two daughters, Mrs. Fay Bruce and Mrs. Gussie Hilburn, both of Odessa; three grandchildren; five brothers, Ollie B., Stephenville; Barney, Fort Worth,; Rube, Palo Pinto; George, California and Willard of California; two sisters, Mrs. Cora Gaither of Hale Center and Mrs. Carrie Shelton of Palo Pinto.

Mister Ralph Starling of the Graham Street Church of Christ will conduct the services. Interment will be at the Exray Cemetery under the direction of Trewitt Funeral Home.
